Concert for NASV
A fund-raiser concert for the Southeast Missouri chapter of the Network Against Sexual Violence will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 23 at New McKendree United Methodist Church's South Campus on Highway 25 in Jackson. The concert will feature Restless Spirit and will include folk, pop and acoustic music. Admission is free. The event is part of an ongoing series of benefit concerts that the South Campus is holding for local charities. Light snacks and refreshments will be served, and child care provided.
Seminar at Trinity
A seminar titled "Making children mind without losing yours" with Dr. Kevin Leman at Trinity Lutheran Church will be held at 9:15 a.m. April 23 and at 7 p.m. April 25 in the church fellowship room. For more information, call 335-5046.
Spring rally April 23
The Altenburg zone Lutheran Women's Missionary League will hold its spring rally at Immanuel Lutheran Church beginning at 12:30 p.m. April 23. Guest speaker will be Sue Hasselbring with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Christ Episcopal Church, 8:30 a.m. morning prayer and The Great Vigil of Easter at 7 p.m. today.
Chicken and dumpling/ham dinner with Delta Church of God of Prophecy at Delta Community Center, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 22
Fund-raiser "Attic Treasures" from 7 to 11 a.m. April 22 at Family Life Center of Centenary United Methodist Church to raise money for the United Methodist Men and Women.
