GOP caving in on illegal immigrants

To the editor:

Cheaters and lawbreakers proudly waving Mexico's flag and holding the American flag upside down poured onto our streets intimidating Americans, demanding laws to legalize illegal aliens and their jumping ahead of legal immigrants who obey the law. An adoring media portrays this shameful debacle as another huge win for the Democrats.

The media provided wall-to-wall coverage of these so-called spontaneous demonstrations orchestrated right out of a communist revolutionary's playbook and financed in part by George Sorros, teachers' unions and labor unions.

Republicans, who want to secure and protect our borders, have been demonized in well-coordinated news stories capped off by Hillary Clinton's pious remark that Republicans make a criminal of Jesus Christ himself. Again, Hillary and the Democrats are overplaying their hand. Some Democrat supporters bemoan this fact on their blogs, which declare Hillary's and the Democrats' calling for amnesty for illegal-alien invaders could spell defeat for Democrats in 2006 and 2008.

Why then, do Republicans cave in? Why are we are so eager to forget God's condemnation for the hungry man who sold his birthright for a bowl of stew? Remember Christ, having been without food for 40 days, refused to sell his soul for a loaf of bread and betray God and man. The southwestern United States is shaping up as a classic replica of the Israel-Palestinian conflict as a result of our continuous bargaining with socialist devils.
