Letter to the Editor

God's power overcomes all sins

To the editor:

An unborn child is at the mercy of its mother, some unmerciful judges and other law officials while the murderer can go scot-free with the manipulation of lawyers. Do you call that right? "Thou shalt not kill." This commandment goes for the born and the unborn.

Regarding the killing of prison inmates, the inspired Scriptures state, "Whoso takes the sword shall perish with the sword." This is to be done through the orderly divine institution of civil government.

And yes, there is justification for a just war. The United States was unmercifully attacked in World War II. Did we not have the right as a nation to defend our borders, our land, our God-given rights and our people and property?

Think about it, all you who question these issues. All sins, including those of the gay person, can and are being overcome by the power of God in Christ.
