The Excelsior Chapter Order of DeMolay recently honored two returning Iraqi Freedom soldiers, Sgt. Allen Storm and Spc. Adrianne Storm. Both were Army Reservists with 301st Combat Support Hospital, Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Adrianne Storm was deployed with the 375th Quartermaster Company, Belton, Mo. in September 2004 and returned to the states November 2005. Allen Storm was deployed with 55th Medical Company, Indianapolis, Ind., in November 2004 and returned to the states November 2005.
The two soldiers are relatives of chapter members Aaron Oldham and senior councilor Travis Dickerson. The DeMolay chapter presented gifts in thanks to the deployed military personnel, while extending the appreciation worldwide.
The Storms, who met through the Reserves, were engaged to be married when they deployed. They were married in April 2005 in Paducah, Ky., while home on a short leave before returning to Iraq. E-mail was their main form of communication while they were deployed.
They are now starting married life in Jackson. Allen Storm is the son of Judy Storm of Metropolis, Ill., and the late Lonnie Storm. Adrianne Storm is the daughter of Verla and Tim Lieneke and Chuck and Carlis Dickerson, all of Jackson.
