Maxine Hahn, 82, of Jackson died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 19, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Roy Clark and Georgia Marie Lanpher Welker. She and Arthur Hahn were married June 8, 1968, in Jackson.
Mrs. Hahn was a graduate of Jackson High School. She had been a bookkeeper at International Shoe Co., worked at Lowenbaum Dress Factory from 1960 to 1974, and at Griffaw Furniture eight years. She retired in 1988. She lived in the Jackson and Cape Girardeau area all her life.
She was an avid golfer, and a lifetime member of Kimbeland Country Club where she was past president of the Ladies Golf Association.
Mrs. Hahn was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Kimbeland Country Club.
Survivors include her husband of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Reuben Peetz; and a sister-in-law, Edvira Leible, all of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
