The Notre Dame boys basketball team scored 27 first-quarter points and pounded visiting district rival Fredericktown 86-51 on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (6-1) led by just eight at halftime but held Fredericktown to 16 points in the second half, including only one in the fourth quarter.

Xavier Delph and Ryan Willen each had 18 points to lead Notre Dame. Alex Ressel had 14 points and Frankie Ellis added 11 for the Bulldogs.
