ANNA, Ill. -- James W. Livesay Jr., 76, of Anna died Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He was born Aug. 13, 1926, in Grand Tower, Ill., son of James W. and Nora Davis Livesay. He and Norma June Treece were married Sept. 22, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark. She died July 10, 1993.

Livesay was a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as flight line crew chief.

He was a life member of Anna American Legion Post 344.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Livesay of Fort Wayne, Ind., Tracy Livesay of Anna; a daughter, Angela Bracken of Jonesboro, Ill.; a brother, Eddie Livesay of St. Louis; a sister, Mildred Beasley of Tamms, Ill.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Eidson officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with full military honors by Scott Air Force Base personnel.
