Operations manager gets recognized

The Manchester Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals has recognized Carol L. Sandvos, operations manager at Advance Logistics, for her professional accomplishments. Sandvos has a background in warehousing. The registry in a news release said that her experience and expertise in providing customer service at a management level, managing employees and customer relations enhances the professional services provided by the facility.

Local consultant attends national conference

Local BeautiControl independent consultant Sandra H. Elliot was among 5,000 BeautiControl independent consultants from throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada to attend the company's annual convention recently in Dallas. The convention, provided learning opportunities about the company's new products. They also participated in business-building workshops and attended a fall fashion show. Beauti-Control Inc. is a subsidiary of Tupperware.

Kinder receives national home-building award

Archival Designs Inc. has awarded Mitch Kinder of Mitch Kinder Development Inc. for his version of the Whytock II home design. "We found the perfect match with Mitch Kinder," the company said in a news release. "The lasting impression you will receive from the Whytock II is extraordinary." The home Kinder won for is at 2531 Carriage Crossing Drive in Cape Girardeau.
