William Howard Propst, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, son of S.C. "Pete" and Maim Howard Propst. He and Neoma Cawthon were married Aug. 30, 1958.
Mr. Propst was a drafting supervisor with Missouri Utilities 32 years, and was a draftsman eight years for Cape Girardeau city engineer.
He attended Cane Creek School eight years, and was a 1948 graduate of Jackson High School. Mr. Propst was a member of Cape Girardeau Police Reserve many years, beginning in 1955.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tonya Watters of Cape Girardeau, Rhonda Propst of St. Louis; a sister, Sara Rose Turner of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Jessica and William Watters of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David E. Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
