Overheated apartment could kill

To the editor:

I am writing about your story regarding the landlord in Cape Girardeau who turned the heat up to 125 degrees. I cannot believe he is only being charged with a misdemeanor. The renter is asthmatic. Even if she wasn't, she could have died. If the landlord is found guilty, may he end up in an even hotter place.
