Other attractions for riverboats

To the editor:

A recent letter to the editor, "Cape welcomes riverboat visitors," mentioned the Red House Interpretive Center was open for visitors.

Other tourist attractions also were open: the Glenn House, Old St. Vincent's Church and the Cape River Heritage Museum. These three attractions have been opening their doors for the boat dockings for years -- ever since the boats began stopping at our riverfront.

We gladly welcome the Red House in our midst, but please give credit to the other attractions. There have been dedicated volunteers for years making this happen.
