Barbara Rebecca "Bobbie" Barnett, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at her home.
She was born July 12, 1937, at Kennett, Mo., daughter of William Howard and Rella Alice White Linam Sr.
Barnett retired as a riverboat cook for Luhr Brothers. She was of the Native American tribe Ah-Ni-Yv-Wi-Ya, and a member of Morley VFW Auxiliary Post 5368.
Survivors include a son, Floyd Patterson of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Deborah Egan of St. Louis, Sarah Webb of McClure, Ill., Sue Greenwood of Denton, Texas; a brother, Bill Linam of Sikeston, Mo.; two sisters, Joan Bell of Cape Girardeau, Nancy Reed of Webster Groves, Mo.; a friend for 27 years, Leon Barnett of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., after 4 p.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Chief Paul White Eagle officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Bill and David Linam, Floyd Patterson, Pete and Doug Esham, Mike and Derek Wheeler, Merlen and Don Hagey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship Program, 2128 William St., No. 129, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63703.
