ST. LOUIS -- Abraham Nunez singled home the winning run in the ninth inning of the St. Louis Cardinals' 5-4 victory against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
Albert Pujols had two hits, and Scott Rolen had two hits and an RBI for the Cardinals, who completed a 6-4 homestand.
"We've been sneaking by a couple of teams and playing just good enough to win," Cardinals outfielder Jim Edmonds said. "It's nice to get a win out of that game. They're a good young team."
Ray King (2-1), pitching for the third straight day, picked up the win after recording an inning-ending double play in the ninth.
Cardinals starter Mark Mulder gave up a season-high three homers in six innings, and has allowed seven in his last four outings. He allowed four runs and seven hits.
