Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau was the setting Sept. 4, 2004, for the wedding of Andrea Birk and Chad Bogenpohl. The Rev. Douglas Breite performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Birk of Ann Arbor, Mich. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bogenpohl of Oak Ridge.
Maid of honor was Amber Birk of Oak Ridge, twin sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebecca McLane of Texas, Heather Holdman and Jesica Bogenpohl of Jackson.
Jeff Bogenpohl of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Heath McLane of Texas, Jamie Birk of St. Louis, and Matt Preusser of Oak Ridge. Ushers were Garrett Birk of Ann Arbor, brother of the bride, and Seth Barnhart of Jackson, nephew of the groom.
Flower girl was Shelby Birk of St. Louis, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Alec Bogenpohl of Jackson, nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Carol Schmidt, Lynn Birk and Donna Birk, all of Cape Girardeau and aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 3 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Bogenpohl is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
The groom attended Jefferson County Community College and Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed at Do It Best Corp. in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in Oak Ridge.
