High court- We reap what we sow

To the editor:

I agree with the letter writer regarding the recent Supreme Court decision on federal anti-drug policies. Do we reap what we sow?

The amusing thing is that the writer blames the conservatives. This is the same court that superseded states' rights on abortion and is still held as the mantra for the liberals. (The 5-4 decision was the same 5-4 split that the Democrats hailed as a stolen election in 2000.) We have appellate courts loaded with "legislators." The liberals love it when the decisions go their way but want to blame the conservatives when they do not agree with a decision.

As a resident of California for more than 20 years, I have seen many state elections overturned by the 9th Circuit (more affectionately known as the 9th Circus because of the number of their decisions overturned.) The Bush administration has been battling this problem for more than four years, but we see on a daily basis what our liberal politicos are doing to block those efforts. Sometimes we actually do reap what we sow.
