The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI A suspect was taken into custody Friday pending formal charges for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.
A suspect was taken into custody Saturday pending charges for driving while intoxicated at Jefferson and Sprigg.
Arrests Andrew Cook, 21, of 3001 Themis, No. 9, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
John D. Sterling, 38, of 1127 S. Ellis, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery.
Jeffery D. Meeker, 30, of 75 E. Fourth St., Garnett, Kan., was arrested Friday on a Kansas warrant for burglary.
Terry Zoellner, 28, of 411 S. French Lane, Perryville, Mo., was arrested Saturday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.
Jared Kertz, 22, of 204 Greenbriar, Apt. B, received a summons Saturday for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Courtney Vance, 18, of 289 Mustang, Jackson, was issued a summons Saturday for indecent exposure and resisting arrest.
Gasoline was reported stolen Friday from Kidd's at 103 N. Kingshighway.
A license plate was reported stolen Friday from 1709 Bertling.
Anthony Abell, 19, of 321 Dearmont Circle was issued a summons on suspicion of stealing cigarettes from Schnucks at 19 S. Kingshighway.
Interference with custody was reported Friday.
A 48-year-old male was placed in protective custody Saturday.
