Efforts of utility, cleanup workers are appreciated

To the editor:

In response to the article "Jackson mayor enacts curfew to curb looting, gawkers": I am not a writer, but I liked this article a lot. My family has been lucky with all the storms that we have had in the past 10 years. I agree that people who do not belong in the damaged areas should stay away. People have worked for their belongings, and what can be salvaged is a miracle. My family went through a house fire. We lost everything, so I know what it is like to lose. The reason I am writing is because I was wondering if you could print how much the utility crew workers and the cleanup workers are appreciated. They are working very hard to put Jackson and other towns back in order.
