Angela Dawn Thompson and Timothy Walter Kutscher were married May 4, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette, Mo. The Rev. Paul W. Rueckert performed the ceremony. Acolytes were Kyle and Thomas Aufdenberg, sons of David and Carla Aufdenberg of Jackson and cousins of the groom. Organist was Paul Snyder. Vocalist was Christopher Thompson of Newton, Ill., brother of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Sharon Thompson of Newton. Walter R. and Carol L. Kutscher of Jackson are parents of the groom.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Tope of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Kris Phillips of Florissant, Mo., and Kim Cochran of Mattoon, Ill.

Andrew Kutscher of St. Louis served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Reece of Springfield and Chris Thompson of Newton, brother of the bride. Ushers were Kent Huber of Indianapolis, Ind., Scott Huber of West Virginia, cousins of the bride; and Scott Williams of Jackson, cousin of the groom.

Guest book and program attendants were Cathie and Jolee Huber and Melinda Michl, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Westport Holiday Inn in St. Louis.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 3 at Joe Hanon's Restaurant.

Mrs. Kutscher is a graduate of Illinois Science and Math Academy and Southeast Missouri State University. She is a microbiologist at Stiers in St. Louis.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School and Vatterott College.

The couple is residing in St. Louis.
