Parents who let children drink choose outcomes

To the editor:

If you refuse to love your children according to the Word of God, which is to nurture and teach them what is right, that is your choice. So when your unloved and unrighteous child drives into society and causes damage, from personal property to killing someone, due to inebriation, you should have no problem at all paying for the damages by liquidating all your assets such as the house, cars, property and investments for restitution to the victim and society. You will be broke and homeless, but I guess your child's drinking was more important.

Do not weep should your child who caused the accident die as well, for you reap what you sow and the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Simply put, you choose death for your child. Woe to those in Speak Out who condone lowering the drinking age with no comment on the responsibility that comes with it. Drinking is not my gripe. Irresponsibility is.
