    What do you like most about the area? The genuineness of the people, and their willingness to support the needs of the community through volunteerism.

    Favorite food: Key lime pie, lime sherbet, pimento cheese sandwiches with bread-and-butter pickles.

    Favorite TV show: The ESPN Channel in general (Sports Center).

    Best advice: "Good things come to those who work and try hard."

    Person you most admire: While there are many, I would say my father, Billy Joe Thompson, banker Richard Davis and downtown merchant Charles L. Hutson.

    What would you do if you won the lottery? Pay off all debt, take my entire family on a trip to Australia and build a church.

    Pet peeve: Those who forget from where they came.
