  • First Christian Church will hold breakfast devotions at 7 a.m. today through Friday.

    MAUNDY THURSDAY

  • Service at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau.

    Service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with Communion.

    Service at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

    Evening Mass of Lord's supper at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. John J. Leibrecht, bishop of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Catholic Diocese.

    Holy Thursday service at 7 p.m. at Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church.

    Worship and Communion at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

    Service with Communion at 4 and 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

    GOOD FRIDAY

  • Noon service at First General Baptist Church in Jackson, sponsored by the Jackson Ministerial Alliance.

    Way of the Cross walk at 12:15 p.m. through downtown Cape Girardeau, sponsored by the Downtown Council of Churches. The event will begin at Old St. Vincent's Church and includes 14 stops along the route. In case of rain, the service will be inside the church.

    Celebration of Lord's passion at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral.

    Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. The service focuses on the last seven words Christ spoke and candles will be extinguished after each word is spoken.

    Good Friday community service at 7 p.m. at Hobbs Chapel, an event organized by the Cape Girardeau Ministerial Alliance.

    Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

    TreOre service at 11:30 a.m. and Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

    Service at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

    Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.

    "An evening in the Upper Room" presentation at 7 p.m. at Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cape Girardeau. The presentation recreates the last evening Jesus spent with the disciples. There is no cost, but guests can register by calling 334-7232 with their name and phone number.

    SATURDAY

  • Easter vigil at 8 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral.

    Holy Saturday service at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

    EASTER SUNDAY

  • Sunrise service at 7 a.m. and worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at Lynwood Baptist Church.

    Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and then a festival service at 9:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Both services include Communion.

    Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville, Mo., will celebrate with a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service and a breakfast. An Easter egg hunt and butterfly release will follow the 10:30 a.m. service.

    Celebration Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. John J. Leibrecht, bishop of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese.

    Sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Hobbs Chapel followed by a continental breakfast. An egg hunt will be at 8:30 a.m., and worship is also at 10:15 a.m.

    Sunrise worship at 6 a.m., followed by a breakfast at 7 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Easter festival worship is at 8 and 10:30 a.m. A contemporary worship is at 9:15 a.m.

    Easter worship with Communion at 8 and 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

    Easter worship with 7:15 a.m. sunrise service, followed by a breakfast. Worship again offered at 9:30 a.m., followed by a fellowship at 11 a.m.
