La Croix United Methodist Church was the setting July 20, 2002, for the wedding of Jayne Marie Jauch and Richard Forrest Hollensbe. The Rev. Ron Watts performed the ceremony. Pianist was Chris Nall, and vocalists were Michelle Warren and Nall, both of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Max and Charlotte Jauch of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Joseph and Margaret Hollensbe of St. Ann, Mo.

Maid of honor was Jill Jauch of St. Louis, sister of the bride; matron of honor was Hope Woodson of O'Fallon, Mo.; and bridesmaid was Annie Tipton of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.

Garrett Lyell of St. Charles, Mo., was best man. Groomsman was Mark Hollensbe of Ballwin, Mo., brother of the groom. Ushers were Craig Woodson of O'Fallon, Brian Brown of Cape Girardeau, and Rick Doughton of Jackson.

Flower girl was Taylor Cummins and ringbearer was Chad Tipton, cousins of the bride. Taylor is the daughter of Glen and Brandie Cummins of Omaha, Neb. Chad is the son of Tom Tipton and Julie Tipton of Cape Girardeau.

Kelli Hinton of Jackson, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Route 25 Banquet Hall in Jackson. Servers were Carolyn Whitesides and Pam Brockmire.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 19 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hollensbe is a 1992 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in English education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1996. She is a teacher with Ft. Zumwalt School District.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Pattonville High School, and a graduate of Southeast University. He is employed with SBC.

After a wedding trip to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the couple is residing in St. Peters, Mo.
