GALE, Ill. -- Raymond Gregg Pulley, 69, of Gale died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Mexico, Mo., son of Mitchell Shire and Alta Haislip Pulley. He moved to Gale from St. Louis in 1969.
A painter, he was a member of the Painters Union for 50 years. He was of Baptist faith.
He and Elsie Mae Allen were married June 13, 1952, in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Glenn Pulley of Memphis, Tenn., and Jimmie Justin Pulley of Gale; a sister, Bonnie Roderick of St. Ann, Mo.; and three grandchildren, William Gregg Pulley and Robert Justin Pulley of Cape Girardeau and Christopher Lee Pulley of Gale.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Gregg Pulley Jr.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Carl Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Ill.
