The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

Ashley R. Parker, 20, of 1313 W. Murray Lane, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of stealing.

Kenneth L. Christensen, 43, of 23031 State Route P, St. Mary, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possession of ephedrine with intent to distribute.

Two persons were placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Michael L. Jones, 22, of 189 A. St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

A person was placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for driving while revoked, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Charles E. Young, 27, of 215 Oak St., Farmington, Mo., was arrested Thursday on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

Jamie D. Jackson, 22, of 2849 Themis, Apt. 5C, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on Stoddard County warrants for failure to appear and driving while revoked.

Terry L. Whitfield, 28, of 45 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 316, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court and failure to pay fine.

Tamesha L. Jefferson of 1020 Sturdivant, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.Summonses

Timothy D. Biggerstaff, 26, of 1447 N. Main, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Wednesday for a leash law violation.

Wendy Keith, 27, of 257 Capaha Trail, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Wednesday for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Barbara K. Davis, 34, of 315 S. Middle, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Thursday for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Assaults

A person was placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for domestic assault, resisting arrest and trespassing.

A 16-year-old female was cited Thursday to juvenile court for assault.Thefts

Gasoline was reported stolen Wednesday by Amoco at 3276 William.

A check was reported stolen Wednesday at 1960 Briarwood.

Food was reported stolen Wednesday by El Torero at 2120 William.

A cell phone was reported stolen Wednesday at 1625 N. Kingshighway.

Jewelry and medication were reported stolen Wednesday at 1927 N. Kingshighway.

A license plate was reported stolen or lost Wednesday at Cape La Croix and Lynwood Hills Drive. The plate was 782-JE9.

A microwave vent hood was reported stolen Wednesday at 211 St. Francis Drive.

Gasoline was reported stolen Wednesday by Rhodes 101 at 10 S. West End Blvd.

Gasoline was reported stolen Thursday by Shell D-Mart at 3415 William.

Property damage

Phone lines were reported cut Thursday by Holiday Happenings at 5 S. Hanover.

Miscellaneous

A forged check was reported Wednesday by Commerce Bank at 1800 Cape La Croix Lane.

Failure to return rented property was reported Thursday by Rent One at 610 S. Kingshighway.

A 35-year-old female was placed in protective custody Thursday.

A red and black bicycle was found Thursday at North Cape Rock Drive and Jonquil.Jackson

Tracy L. Walker, 26, of 2080 Old Toll Road, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault.

Meagan L. Whitehead, 17, of 305 S. Shawnee, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault.

Dustin W. Penny, 20, of 312 N. Rodney, Chaffee, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault.
