Lady Raiders signings

The Three Rivers Lady Raiders welcomed their newest recruit to the basketball program yesterday. Chelsea Swindle of Doniphan will continue her basketball career in the Black & Gold.

Swindle is a 5-8 guard that has a knack for shooting the long ball and has decent quickness off the dribble.

Swindle is the latest addition to the guards that have already decided to attend Three Rivers. Sara Woodgeard of Greenville and Kaylee Blue of Twin Rivers have also signed letters of intent and will join returning guards Meredith Medlin, Brittney Peet and Morgan Davis in the rotation.

Hime roughs up Neelyville, myself

Yesterday, I covered Neelyville and Clearwater baseball. Clearwater pitcher Jake Hime shut down Neelyville and also did some damage to me as I was just inside the fence taking pictures.

More Raider basketball additions

Three Rivers added to its guard depth recently, adding Bell City's Nick Niemczyk. Niemczyk averaged 30 points per game and six rebounds in high school. He has the ability to play the one or the two guard.
