Ellen engaged!

Following the California Supreme Court's ruling in favor of gay marriage, Ellen Degeneres announced during a taping of her talk show that she and longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi plan to wed, the Associated Press reports. Ellen and de Rossi, who was in the studio, received a standing ovation.

Hope they're not getting ahead of themselves. The deal isn't quite sealed yet.
As it stands now, smae-sex couples could marry in as little as a month. Religious and social conservatives, however, are seeking to put an amendment on the ballot in November that would undo the ruling and ban gay marriage.
Guess we'll just have to keep an eye on this one.

Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana is learning you can't always have the best of both worlds.
According to an Associated Press story, it turns out Miley is "embarrassed" by a photo shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz (you know her — she shot the infamous photo of a naked and preggers Demi Moore).

The Associated Press reports that Yoko Ono is suing the producers of "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," saying that they used her late husband John Lennon's song "Imagine" without permission.
