Many sources -- including TV Guide, The Associated Press and E! Online -- are reporting that Jennie Garth, aka rich-girl Kelly Taylor became the first original cast member to sign on to the new "90210."
The -- revisioning? revamp? spin-off? -- of the ultimate teen soap of the '90s is the brainchild of "Veronica Mars" creator Rob Thomas. The CW has given it the go-ahead, but Thomas' original pilot is being re-written by newly-appointed showrunners/exec producers Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs, according to Variety.
Garth, last seen on "Dancing With the Stars" and the sitcom "What I Like About You," will have a recurring role as a guidance counselor at her alma mater, West Beverly High. Say what? I (Heather) wasn't a die-hard "90210" fan back in the day, but I can't imagine that Kelly Taylor as a guidance counselor. But after all the things her character went through, I guess she does have some life lessons to share.
Since talk of the new "90210" began, orignal cast members Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering have also been rumored to be bringing their alter egos back to Beverly Hills.

For those of you who aren't addicted to "American Idol", Missouri native David Cook made the final three in Wednesday night's results show. Which, as all fans of the show know, means he gets to make a "homecoming" trip with lots of heartwarming encounters with fans and officials.

Coming on the heels of Marilyn Monroe's sex tape is a new flick from Vivid Entertainment, that classy company that brought you such films as "Debbie Does Dallas...Again" and the Kardashian and Anderson sex tapes. The adult entertainment company is releasing a sex tape allegedly starring musician Jimi Hendrix. Vivid said they got the sex tape from a memorabilia collector.

Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana is learning you can't always have the best of both worlds.
According to an Associated Press story, it turns out Miley is "embarrassed" by a photo shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz (you know her — she shot the infamous photo of a naked and preggers Demi Moore).

The Associated Press reports that Yoko Ono is suing the producers of "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," saying that they used her late husband John Lennon's song "Imagine" without permission.
