it's been awhile...

Sunday, September 21, 2008

Wow. A month has passed since my last entry. To better update any and everyone I'd like to post a really informal entry this time. Of course, informal is my nature.

1. The salon participated in the March of Dimes Golf tournament. We organized ourselves as a hodgepodge of a team. Lucky for us, it was a women's scramble. Lucky for us, it was a charity event so our score really didn't matter to us. Lucky for us, since we came in last! I bet no team had as much fun as us! Thanks Chris A. for keeping our margaritas cold and replenished!!!

2. We, also as a salon, sponsored a booth at the Welcome Back SEMO students picnic. Not to take away from anyone, but several students stopped by our booth and commented that we had one of the best ones there. We try...... I believe we gained a few new clients, which is definitely to our benefit, and also bonded a little more as a team. It's always fun to go places, network as a salon, cut up and have fun as usual, all out of the salon. We do work together every day, but there is something to be said for that extra special girl time!

3. I will have to report a little more at a later date on the goings on around Pacific Street. Let's just say there has been a lot of excitement in our neighborhood lately, Who knew!?! As I said, that will have to be dealt with in a whole other blog post.

4. Another topic ,only to be touched on, but not completely dissected is our passion for all things "Twilight". Oh, yes, the sensation has hit Cape with a bang, and we have front row seats!!! Literally we as a salon might be sitting in the front row at the theatre on the opening night of the movie! The after party should keep bella salon open into the late hours. Again, more on that later!
