I am a graduate of Mississippi State University. In 2006 I earned a bachelor's degree in environmental Geosciences (basically a degree in meteorology). I have had an interest in weather since grade school. Over the past 13 years whenever possible I've assisted local emergency management and the National Weather Service during severe weather. When not watching the weather, I spend a lot of time with my family and enjoy talking current events.
