Thank you
(Column ~ 11/24/21)
Life is hectic, and I am a terrible planner. I can't plan a menu for a week like my mom. I do try. I always end up throwing out food that has gone bad before I can even think of cooking it. I love food, but I don't always like giving up the time to cook it. Convenience has become an issue for me, though, with the diabetic diagnosis. A burger and fries won't work and eating a bunless burger and side salad gets old really fast. I wanted to share one of my favorite go-tos lately...

The Pilgrims of Plymouth, Massachusetts, in that year celebrated a good harvest with Native Americans who had helped the settlers with scarce resources survive the previous winter by giving them food. ...

When are area residents and motorists going to see improvements to this street?...

Remembering the reason we celebrate the fourth Thursday in November
(Editorial ~ 11/24/21)
This week most of us will gather with family and friends to enjoy more than enough food and give thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings in our lives. Faith has much to do with the significance behind the holiday. In the early 1600s, the Pilgrims fled England to live freely -- namely the freedom to worship God according to their own conscientious. ...
