While Friday was reserved for fun and socializing, Saturday was dedicated to the serious business of competition for the 36 teams in the 20th annual Cape BBQ Fest at Arena Park. The teams began cooking in four classes at 5 a.m. to meet the deadline to present their efforts to the judges.

A federal appeals court has upheld Clay Waller's sentence for making an Internet threat against his missing wife's sister. The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals issued the ruling upholding the sentence on Friday. Waller was sentenced in January for making threats against Cheryl Brenneke, his missing wife's sister, on the website Topix.
