geezz...has anybody seen a dash board on brand new cars and trucks ? They're like entertainment centers with all the bells and whistles . If People aren't obeying the current Laws , they aren't suddenly start obeying any new Laws .

I would think that texting while driving is the most dangerous thing you can do while operating a vehicle, more so than checking .08 alcohol content, not that drinking and driving is safe, because texting they’re giving full attention to texting, it could be as much as 10 seconds, and 2 second is a long time.

Would a vehicle full of occupants talking , such as kids or out of town visitors for example , be the equal amount of distractions as cell phone use ?

Well You can debate this to death, so I guess what we should do is ban cars in America, because they cause more deaths in a year than guns ever do.

We already have a law for this. It's called distracted driving. Anything that takes your attention away is just as hazardous.

If I see one more person texting while driving , I'm going to roll down my window and throw my can of beer at them...
