We're looking for good deeds in the communities of Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois to feature as part of our new project, the Good Samaritan Chronicles. If you know someone who's done a good deed in your community, click here to submit the story.

What are the Good Samaritan Chronicles?

The Southeast Missourian is proud to introduce the Good Samaritan Chronicles, a project that aims to celebrate the kindness shown on a daily basis in Southeast Missouri. We need your help to do this.

Simply keep your eye out for good deeds being done around you and let us know about them. There are no deeds too big or small, whether it's someone who volunteered to watch your pet while you were out of town or something bigger like a friend helping to put you through college. Please share your stories and help us celebrate the goodness that's going on in your community.

We will collect the Good Samaritan Chronicles all month long and run some of them in print on the first Sunday of every month.

Submitting your Good Samaritan Chronicle is simple. Just click on the What's Your Story headline on this page to give us your story.

You can also share them on our Facebook page at http://facebook.com/goodsamaritanchronic....

Or you can send your Samaritan Chronicle in the mail to:
