Cape Girardeau VFW Post 3838 Dedicates New Building

The largest Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Missouri officially moved in to its new facility and opened its doors to the community.

The colors are posted outside the new VFW building in Cape Girardeau.

Fred Evans, left, the youngest member of VFW Post 3838, and Jim Foster, its oldest member, exchanged flags symbolizing the union of generations of veterans.

The color guard stands at attention.

Dedication ceremonies move inside to the Grand Hall.
