Homecoming 2005 for Southeast Missouri State University also marked the 100th anniversary of Academic Hall on the Southeast campus. The parade on Broadway is an annual tradition for many, including several high school bands.

The Golden Eagles Marching Band of Southeast Missouri State University marched in the homecoming parade on Broadway past university's new "front door" at Henderson Avenue Saturday morning.

Pi Kappa Alpha and Alpha Chi Omega won first place in the large float competition with a 1940s theme.

The float entered by Sigma Nu and Alpha Delta Pi featured a 1970s theme.

The Marching Cardinals of Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Mo. marched in the university's homecoming parade.

The Scott Central Braves Marching Band played in the "Rock the Dome" event in Academic Hall Auditorium.

A one-room schoolhouse was set up in Academic Hall by Kappa Delta Pi, the honor society in education, in celebration of Academic Hall's 100th anniversary.

Pam Epplin, left, of Cape Girardeau challenged her former roommate, Rebekah Hunt of Troy, Ill. in the "bungee run" at the homecoming picnic on the terraces of Academic Hall. Both are 2005 graduates of Southeast.

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks played Murray State at Houck Stadium and defeated the Racers 52-21.
