The 23-year-old Army soldier from Jackson was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on Aug. 18.

The funeral procession for Sgt. Robert Davis passed a group of supporters standing along the highway near First General Baptist Church in Jackson.
A rifle team from Fort Leonard Wood fired a salute in honor of Sgt. Robert Davis at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson Friday.
