Indicating the interest in uranium, even locally, since recent finds in Illinois, this group is examining a Geiger counter at the Montgomery Ward store in Cape Girardeau. From the left are K.D. Cape Girardeau’s public school kindergarten teachers combined their subject resources at a Franklin School Parent-Teacher Unit meeting Tuesday night to tell of their work and how it prepares small children for the challenges that lie ahead in the more formal classroom.
