The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau held the annual Women of Achievement Luncheon and Awards Ceremony Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at the Drury Plaza Hotel Conference Center in Cape Girardeau. The club presented annual awards and recognized local scholarship recipients at the annual fundraiser, with all proceeds benefitting the Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau's principal event for local and international service projects and scholarships to support and improve the lives of women in the Cape Girardeau area and Haiti. This year’s honorees include: Carolyn Bohnert, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Randa Rawlins, who received the Celebration Award; And Women of Achievement Award nominees Sarah Bradshaw, Tamara Zellars Buck and Gwen Maloney. This is the first year all three Women of Achievement Award nominees tied and were declared co-winners of the award, and each received an award and plaque.
