Cross Country Chase 2021 Grand Finale in Cape

Competitors in the 2021 Cross Country Chase came roaring into downtown Cape Girardeau for the Grand Finale of the five-day race on Saturday, July 10, crossing the finish line at Independence Street and Main Street. The Grand Finale Event consisted of mini-chase bikes, a local bike show brought to Cape Girardeau by Garret’s Custom Bikes, and food trucks and beer for purchase by the Knights of Columbus. The 2021 chase, called, “Mini Chase: Secrets of the Ozarks,” consisted of a 1,340 mile route where riders traveled an average of 250 miles per day over the five-day period.
