Iron workers prepare to install the first section of the lifting platform to lower pier shell five, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in the casting yard of Olmsted Locks and Dam. Once the lifting platform is installed, the pier shell will be transported by the gentry crane and then by the catamaran barge to be placed in the Ohio River.
