2013 Soap Box Derby

The nose of one of the cars used in the 2013 Soap Box Derby Saturday, May 4, at Blanchard Elementary School, 1829 N. Sprigg St., in Cape Girardeau. Racers ranging in age from 7 to 17 competed in two divisions at the event which is a fundraiser for the Cape Girardeau Rotary Club. The winners in each division will go on to compete in the All-American Soap Box Derby held in Akron, Ohio in July.
