UNDERSTANDING OBAMACARE FOR DUMMIES

Chapter 1

In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to un-insure the insured. Next, we require the newly un-insured to be re-insured. To re-insure the newly un-insured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured. The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became un-insured and then re-insured, can pay enough extra capital so that the original un-insured can be insured for free.

The End

Did you understand that?

  • Sounds like Festus Hagen talk. Pretty typical of government speak.

  • Maybe we'll be so lucky as those people in Canada, who wait 8 weeks for a scan while the dogs get to use the CT after hours the day the vet orders the scan.

There is no government veterinary care in Canada.

Buying insurance for your family, on the private market, is illegal.

Government health care consumes over 40% of the expenditures in Quebec.

  • "Maybe we'll be so lucky as those people in Canada, who wait 8 weeks for a scan"

That is the reason Canadians come to the US for healthcare.

  • "Did you understand that?"

No, but that's because it has no relationship with the facts.

  • A TV network ought to make Pinkycare into a misery series. Harry Reid who starred in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", Hillary Clinton who starred in "Stand By Your Man", Nancy Pelosi who starred in "Mommie Dearest" and Susan Rice who starred in "Pinocchio" should have the leading roles.

I have never had dental insurance and when I go to the dentist and he finds a cavity he finds a way to fix it then, because he knows he is not going to be filing out a bunch of forms and where he needs 2 visits to make it worth his time. Also when I broke a tooth that would require a crown to repair it, he found a way to temporary it two days before Christmas so I could leave 2 days after Christmas and do the permanent fix 3 months later. His daughter a dental student assisted him.

  • The dentist is free. Has been since he started in the 92.

50 minutes long. See the nightmare that Canadians are living with for yourself.

Bury your head in the sand if you want, but doctors don't want to work for the government and sometimes not even for the insurance company (they are working for whomever is PAYING them)--they want to work for the patient. Doctors are fleeing in droves. Two things are going to happen: care will get delivered by someone with a lesser degree of training (which is rationing, unless you think that understanding the intricacies of the Hemoglobin-oxygen dissociation curve, the mechanics of artificial ventilation, the pathways in inherited disorders of metabolism simply DON'T MATTER), or care will simply not get delivered (again, rationing.)

We're getting "bombed back to the stone age" medically speaking. Get in shape, lay off the cigarettes and the liquor, get a will.
