Speak Out: If the state gaming commission thinks the Cape area is the best location, there will be no stopping it.

That would be funny if the casino ends up out in the county, instead of the City of Cape. Funnier yet, if it goes to Scott County.

Church people, either get on the train or keep on trying to derail it. It doesn't matter, if a casino locates here, chances are it would approve a site less congested than downtown anyway.

It would cost less money to build a 4 lane to the port area than rebuilding downtown streets for the City of Cape.

It's not like there is all ready a lot of visitors downtown anyway. There's really not a good reason for them to build in the downtown area. It's not like downtown St. Louis or St. Charles where there's already a lot of people there.

A casino in the Cape area will draw no matter where it's built.

But if it's built in another location away from downtown, you people are just hurting current downtown business owners by your opposition.

If a casino company thinks this area is the best location in the State, then it's coming and you can't stop it.

It would be very fitting if it's built in Scott City. Tourist's would by pass Cape all together.

No tax dollar's for the church people and for the town they live in.

Jesus loves you!
