Speak Out: How Old Is grandpa?

"Man had not invented: pantyhose" And it surely must have been a man who invented them ... Guess he wasn't much into garter belts, huh? Something else we didn't have were 'flip-flops' ... And I remember the first Dairy Queen ... Who would've thought it ... soft ice cream!

We've seen a lot, haven't we ... and not all of it actually good?

Astounded me at the end ... the man's age!

  • And what year did the King's mansion in Hawaii have air conditioning? A year or two before the White House had A/C.

I think grandpa a bit older than 59. Ice cream cones debuted in 1904 and penicilian goes back further than '51.

  • pantyhose were around during World War II, just scarce. And yes, it had to be a man who invented those.

  • Wasn't the original Coke offered with or without cocaine?
