I understand they voted this into law on Monday evening.
Shouldn't there have been a meeting to let the people speak first?

Fine by me, I live in the county. Besides when we celebrate our "independence" we do it with items manufactured in China while waving a flag that says made in China.

were the citizens of Jackson notified that this was going to be discussed/voted on? I never heard anything about. Makes you wonder what our ELECTED board of alderman were trying to hide. Don't the people of Jackson have a right to voice their opinions on this before it is voted on?

I sure would like to see the reasoning they used for deciding to bring up the ban. Injuries? Fires? Complaints? Why was this such a rush?

Birds of a feather fly together- Gerald Jones and Larry cunningham are very good friends and their leadership style is clearly the same. Hopefully some one will stand up to Cunningham and put an end to his bullying.
