Speak Out: 10/10/17

Fake Facebook

Troll alert! Posting links to misinformation and/or propaganda on Facebook and other social media sites is slowly but surely decreasing as society is starting to get ever more sick and tired of this disruptive deterrence to getting the straight story.

Plenty to offer

South Cape is anything but a "second class" area as wrongly identified by a recent comment. The River Campus, Fort D, Shawnee Park, and two nicely renovated gas stations offer plenty to anchor the area. More parks won't fix a lack of personal responsibility, accountability and consistent involvement.

Obstruction Democrats

There was controversy during former President Obama's tenure, but it was kept to politically-heated discussion. Republicans just didn't hammer him every minute, every day, every breath he took, even though they did not agree with him. Since President Trump has been elected, there has been nothing but hate spewed by the liberal Democrats. Every day, every topic. There is nothing they will agree to, and the country is getting sick of it. Their hate is fueling the hateful actions of others. It's time they act like elected officials.

What values?

Where are the values? During the Obama reign he continuously apologized for what a mean old country we live in. How we should not be a super power, but just one of the many. He fanned the fires of racial discord. He did all he could to make our military obsolete. He relied on George Soros to pull his strings since old George is the one who footed his rise to power. All of this and very little attention from the media. We now have a president that thinks our country is great, as he should; our military should be equipped with the finest equipment; and we should show our respect to these individuals that have given their lives and are presently putting themselves in harm's way to protect us. A very simple gesture of respect that has always been shown during the times our national anthem is played has now become a time when many of these overpaid athletes can get their five seconds of fame by showing what shameful people they really are by taking a knee.

Hurricane response

FEMA is doing the best it can. The military is working hard. But the actions of Donald Trump are not worthy of the office of the President. The attacks on an American mayor are not to be tolerated or explained away. Ms. Cruz did not attack him. She did not belittle what was being done. She was begging for help for people without food, water and medicine. For such a powerful and egotistical man as Donald J. Trump to attack her repeatedly via Twitter is beyond unacceptable. He is roaming his golf course attacking a U.S. citizen who is living in a shelter and begging for help for other U.S. citizens. Yes, we should applaud the responders. Yes, we should acknowledge the enormous task ahead of the people of Puerto Rico. But Trump's behavior is despicable and un-American.

Fake Facebook: If your looking for true information don't use Facebook for your source. In fact FB is just a marketing tool that uses your searches for their own benefit.

Plenty to offer: You can't fix stupid, even duct tape doesn't work.

Obstruction Democrats: Very true. President Trump could bring peace to the world and the Democrats would find something to blame him for....very sad state of events. Dems is a party of hate, look at what groups they approve of - BLM and Antifa.

What values: Good to have a true Commander-In-Chief and not a Crawdad-In-Chief.

Hurricane response: True FEMA is doing a great job with disasters in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida....areas that can be reached by overland trucks for disaster help. Puerto Rico's Mayor is upset that the USA was slow to respond with help - what did she do to prepare and be proactive. Probably just covering up her lack of abilities. FEMA, USA military, and volunteers are working tirelessly to help out the folks of PR.

And that's the way it should be....Tuesday October 10, 2017.

  • Fake Facebook...wonder if the fake news accusation could be fake news too , is it a good thing for one person to say , "believe me and only me " ...isn't Twitter Social Media too , where's the proof Trump is actually tweeting himself and not somebody for him as propaganda , what happens if Twitter deletes or is editing his account ..who runs Twitter , is Twitter running the USA or Trump .

Isn't Speak Out Social Media too ?

  • As I understand it, Puerto Rico's Mayor is going to be running for Governor in a few months. She needs to be noticed. Her party affiliation is the equivalent of the US Democratic party. Need I say more?

  • Saying Trump is un-American is like saying Obama was a great president. Either one of those descriptions are true. President Trump has shown more patriotism and pro-American behavior in one day than Obama did in the entire 8 long years he resided in the white house. We now have a true Commander in Chief instead of an apologizer in chief.
