Research request

The Southeast Missourian offers research services using materials housed at the newspaper's library. Material in our library includes:

  • Microfilm for the Southeast Missourian dating to 1904. We also have a few titles that date to the 1800s.

  • Microfilm for the Bulletin-Journal dating to 1955.

  • Clippings file dating to the mid-1960s.

  • Partial photography collection (not all photos in newspaper) dating to early-1900s.

For private individuals, the charge for research services is $15 base price plus $15 per hour after the first hour. There is also a small charge for any copies provided.

Payment may be made by check or credit card.
