Research request

The Southeast Missourian offers research services using materials housed at the newspaper's library. Material in our library includes:

• Microfilm for the Southeast Missourian dating to 1904. We also have a few titles that date to the 1800s.

• Microfilm for the Bulletin-Journal dating to 1955.

• Clippings file dating to the mid-1960s.

• Partial photography collection (not all photos in newspaper) dating to early-1900s.

For private individuals, the charge for research services is $15 base price plus $15 per hour after the first hour. There is also a small charge for any copies provided.

Payment may be made by check or credit card.

Please state your request as clearly as possible. If you know dates and names that will help the researcher with your search, be sure to include them. The more detailed information you provide, the better the chance we have of providing the materials you desire.
