  • And even severe-thunderstorms, at that!

Or, as you stated, it could "flip-flop" yet again. And then it'd be a sequel to "The Blizzard Of '79"---it started with a thunderstorm, too, if I remember correctly?

But that goes without sayin', in itself. My head ain't as young today, as it was back then...!

  • My prediction from last week still sticks. We ain't getting a flurry! All this hype about a winter storm and look how it is ending up...typical.

  • Illustrator: Brace yourself, the hype isn't over. The long-range computer models are already hinting at a major winter storm next week. Somewhere.

  • The current forecast is now calling for 2-3 inches of rain with a possibility of flash flooding, severe thunderstorms, and 30-40 mph wind gusts. Merry Christmas!

  • It appears this next week's storm will be much the same as this week....the talk about a big storm, watch the forecast, a big snow somewhere (maybe here) and wham....all rain. I don't get my hopes up anymore. Although, if I can't get snow for Christmas (even by going north to see my family), bring on the severe thunderstorms. I'd like to see a light show!

  • ALL-RIGHT!!!! MUD-DRIFTS!!!

Almost as much fun as snow, 'cept it's harder to pack an' throw! And, rougher on the washing machine!

But it's almost as slick. And, after the FIRST-layer gets on ya', it no longer matters, and it's all fun from there on...!
