And now for something completely different...
This last year brought plenty of weather extremes: near-record low river stages followed by near-record high stages a few months later; a tornado outbreak in mid-November quickly followed by a major winter storm in early December.
I somehow missed the "Mothership Cloud" that passed over Jackson on June 26, but I found plenty of other weather phenomena to photograph. Here is a roundup of photos from throughout the year:
