Forecast calls for 6-10 inches of snow and/or sleet

Our little winter storm is trending more toward a Snowmageddon versus an Icepocalypse for Cape Girardeau, although anything can happen.
The current National Weather Service forecast for Cape includes the words "TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION 6 TO 10 INCHES." This is right in line with the computer models, which continue to keep the bullseye for the heaviest snow right over us.
As I write this, the temperature is 39°F at Cape, but has already dropped below freezing at Farmington (30°F) and St. Louis (28°F). That cold air is moving quickly in our direction...
